Leadership and Learning

At the crux of the American College of Chest Physicians (CHEST) as an organization is its educational offerings. Without its members, who volunteer their time to serve as faculty in leadership positions, the education provided by CHEST wouldn’t be possible.

A sincere thank you is extended to every member of CHEST who takes the time to lend their expertise to improve chest medicine and patient care.

CHEST SELECT logo

Virtual learning from CHEST Select

With CHEST 2023 taking place in Honolulu, not all clinicians could take the time away from home, work, and other commitments to access the premier education. For the first time ever, an online event called CHEST Select was created to feature several of the best sessions from the CHEST Annual Meeting—meeting the demand for top-tier education in a time-sensitive format. In addition to livestreamed sessions, the platform also included access to CHEST self-study materials.

Taking place over 2 days, the virtual event focused 1 day on critical care and the other on pulmonary medicine. Each day featured four live sessions from leaders in the field, time for self-study, and game breaks hosted by CHEST Board of Regents member, Victor Test, MD, FCCP.
