The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, Texas.
What are your research interests?
Physiology.
What led you to join your Network?
Interprofessional comradery.
What achievements are you most proud of contributing to within your Network?
Encouraging involvement in our Section and elevating our trainees. I have also worked on podcasts and CHEST Physician® articles, which have led to an exchange of ideas, changes in practices, and advancements in the specialty.
How has being in a Network benefited your career and your experience as a CHEST member?
Sharing ideas and experiences has led me to my current job, which was partially aided by my involvement with CHEST. The discussions we have with our colleagues in these Networks help define research interests and/or academic goals that we all share.
What are your hobbies?
Going outside. Falling while climbing, crashing while riding bikes, tripping when running, and peeling skin off after it gets sunburnt.
What is something you cannot live without (after family and friends)?
Cafecito.
