What are your research interests?
Pulmonary vascular disease.
What led you to join your Network?
I was driven to join the Pulmonary Vascular and Cardiovascular Network by my interest in pulmonary hypertension and pulmonary embolism. The Network provided a platform for professional growth. I was able to network, collaborate, and exchange knowledge with other experts and professionals who shared my interest.
What achievements are you most proud of contributing to within your Network?
My involvement in the Pulmonary Vascular and Cardiovascular Network has been incredibly rewarding. Over the past few years, the Network has successfully educated and informed our members, ensuring they remain updated with the latest knowledge and advancements in the field. The collaborative efforts within this Network have enhanced our professional capabilities and strengthened our collective response to critical health care challenges worldwide.
How has being in a Network benefited your career and your experience as a CHEST member?
My engagement with CHEST has had a tremendous impact on my career and professional growth. It has provided me with invaluable opportunities to network and learn from leaders in the field. It has also allowed me to observe and adopt best practices from other leaders and institutions. I have gained a deeper understanding of innovative approaches and cutting-edge strategies. I've also had opportunities to participate in the development of guidelines and educational events. These engagements were important for my promotion within my institute.
What are your hobbies?
Traveling, reading, and hiking.
What is something you cannot live without (after family and friends)?
I love my work, am passionate about patient care, and find a great deal of purpose in my work.
Is there anything else you’d like to share with your Network peers?
CHEST is a great forum for networking, building friendships, finding mentors, and growing professionally.
