ACR/CHEST Clinical Practice Guidelines and Screening of ILD With Systemic Autoimmune Rheumatic Diseases
Recorded: June 17, 2025
Interstitial lung disease (ILD) remains a significant cause of morbidity and mortality in patients with systemic autoimmune rheumatic diseases (SARDs). Lack of evidence-based standardization of screening and monitoring for SARD-ILD has resulted in wide variation in clinical practice. Recent jointly published clinical practice guidelines by CHEST and the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) aim to improve detection of SARD-ILD and its progression. In this webinar, a multidisciplinary panel from the CHEST Diffuse Lung Disease and Lung Transplant Network’s ILD Section focused on navigating these guidelines and practically applying them to clinical practice. Gain valuable insight into approaches to evaluating ILD in this high-risk population of patients with SARD. Plus, watch a previous video on treatment guidelines for SARD-ILD.
