Hoarseness (Dysphonia). American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery Foundation is developing a Clinical Practice Guideline update. CHEST provided Daniel Ouellette, MD, FCCP, as a representative for the guideline panel. Anticipated Publication July 2017.

Practice Parameters for the Indications for Polysomnography and Related Procedures for Patients with Suspected Sleep-Related Breathing Disorders, Central Disorders of Hyper-Somnolence, Parasomnias, and for the Monitoring of Patients Undergoing Treatment for Obstructive Sleep Apnea . American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) - Akram Khan, MD, FCCP, Sleep Domain Liaison from the Guidelines Oversight Committee, is participating as a CHEST representative on the update panel. 2016 ACC/AHA Heart Failure Focused Update . American College of Cardiology/American Heart Association. - Kenneth Casey, MD, FCCP, Chair of the CHEST Guidelines Oversight Committee and Sleep Domain Liaison, served as an expert reviewer on the update. Published July 2017.

Role of Physical Therapists in the Management of Individuals at Risk for or Diagnosed with Venous Thromboembolism: Evidence-Based Clinical Practice Guideline. American Physical Therapy Association. CHEST's Guidelines Oversight Committee acted as an external reviewer. Published February 2016.

National Heart, Blood, and Lung Institute - CHEST nominated Drs. Diego Maselli, MD, FCCP, and Mary Cataletto, MD, FCCP, as representatives from the CHEST Education Committee and Guidelines Oversight Committee to the National Asthma Education and Prevention Program.

American Academy of Sleep Medicine - Volunteers were invited to serve as reviewers of the 2005 Practice Parameters for Clinical Use of the Multiple Sleep Latency Test (MSLT) and Maintenance of Wakefulness Test (MWT). Barbara Phillips, MD, FCCP, serves on the guideline panel. 

Management of the Potential Organ Donor in the Intensive Care Unit: Consensus Statement of the Society of Critical Care Medicine/American College of Chest Physicians/American Thoracic Society Task Force. Society of Critical Care Medicine, American Thoracic Society, and CHEST developed a joint document that began in 2008. The representative from CHEST was Robert Kotloff, MD, FCCP. This manuscript was reviewed by the CHEST Guidelines Oversight Committee, with CHEST serving as a joint creator. Published 2015.

Treatment of Obstructive Sleep Apnea and Snoring with Oral Appliances. American Academy of Sleep Medicine & American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine requested the Guidelines Oversight Committee review and comment. Published 2015.

Clinical Practice Guideline: The Diagnosis, Management, and Prevention of Bronchiolitis. American Academy of Pediatrics requested review and comments from the GOC regarding the updated manuscript. Published October 2014.
